CP88/73 Series

The main differences are control, sounds, and design.

Sound: CP73/88 are newly equipped with high-grade sounds from premium concert pianos (CFX/S700/Bösendorfer 290 Imperial) and upright pianos (U1/SU7).

Control: The new interface of the main unit is divided into three sections: piano, electric piano, and sub, allowing for more intuitive operation.

Design: An aluminum body has been adopted for a more robust and slim design.

Also, a new 73-key model has been added.

The main differences are in the on-board sound sources, sounds, and effects.

Sounds: While the CP88/73 has only AWM2 sound source and mainly piano/electric piano, the YC series has three sound source systems, VCM organ sound source, FM sound source and AWM2 sound source, and has a well-balanced voice lineup with selected piano/electric piano from CP, organ and synth sounds etc.

Effects: The YC series features the newly developed VCM rotary speaker and VCM effects, which use VCM technology.

Operators: The YC series is equipped with a physical drawbar for organ playing.

The number of keys and the mechanism of the keyboard are different. Other points, for example, the button layout, system, and sound source have the same specifications.
