Junior Extension Course

Building on the skills and musicality developed in the Junior Music Course, and capitalizing on the physical, mental and emotional development of 6-7 year olds, the Junior Extension Course will:

• Develop expressional piano playing technique, music reading skills and theory.

• Encourage self-expression and develop the ability to create own music through improvisation and composition.

• Guide children to musical independency along to their growth to school age

After 2 years the children move from the Junior Extension Course to the Junior Advanced Course.

Who can take part? Children aged 6 and 7, who have previously taken part in the Junior Music Course

Time of lessons: 60 minutes

Length of course: 2 years

Size of group: 6-10 children
